Upper Level & Central Core

The highest section of Klis Fortress holds its most prominent historical sites and television filming locations.

Reaching the upper level takes you to an elevation of roughly 350 meters. This central core houses the primary structures from the Ottoman era and the site's recent television fame.

Prepare for strong winds and steep climbs along slippery limestone paths. There are no food or drink stalls at the top, so bring bottled water with you.

St. Vid Church
